Re: how to fix plama lg 42pt350 help?

Ok on the heatsink are 2 diodes 3 legged, and 3 mosfets 3 legged.
I didnt get any open circuit on any diodes testing any 6 ways. And then whats weird is the last transistor im getting 2 open 2 differnt ways but on the other transistor no opens. And yes i see which is marked q and which is marked d.

      LG 60PS11-UA 60-inch 1080p Plasma TV-service lit & video help needed
      by chazh
This is my first posting, so forgive me everyone in advance if I made mistake(s) in my posting.

I know there have been much about this plama tv already and I have read through most what I could find. However; I still have not come across any service lit/schematics for this tv. I even looked for the 50PS11 which would be basically relevant other than display size. Anyone know to find the documentation would greatly be appreciated.

The set that I have has issues with lower third of screen being dimmer than the above portion. From my past experiences with tube, solid state,...

lowest current galvanometer/analog meter (passively powered!)
      by eccerr0r
Most analog meters are actually current driven - a current is needed to deflect the pointer full scale. They can be lots of different values. There are ones that can take several amperes to swing the pointer as they have internal shunts.

On the other hand there are many that are rated in microamps for the intent that they draw as little power as possible from the devices under test. Some are 1mA, 500µA, 200µA, 100µA, and the ubiquitous 50µA frequently used in analog VOMs. There are even 20, 25, 30 µA and even down to 10µA. Been collecting a bunch of different ratings and...

LG 42PT350-UD Audio no picture and no prime.

I read some of the other posts and while similar not the same though. I made a new one to ease the diagnostics. Fellow brought this one and he has already been online and trying to fix it himself. I am not sure what all he had done but the screws were out of the Y-board.
I have just started my diagnostics process so i put everything back.
Have red standby LED. When you press ON on the remote I hear the relays trip once and the red light blinks off then on and slowly fades out.
OK All voltages check right on power supply. INCLUDING VA and VS.
      3.3v standby, 5.2 on 5v rail...

Two LG TVs having issues. 50pc5d and 42pt350.
      by Lavitz
I'm not really sure where to start on the 50pc5d. The TV in its current state shows no power is being received at all. When plugged in and the power button is pressed there is no feedback in any way. It was a TV used for karaoke in a bar so there is also no telling how much damage there is from smoke either.

The second TV just went out today. From the research I have already done it sounds as if there is either a power supply issue or an issue with the y sus or z sus. The current status on this TV is that it clicks on, makes a buzzing sound, and the light turns on for a moment...

Samsung Chromebook XE303C12 recovery OS image
      by 5chematic
Hello guys, I have a Samsung Chromebook Model: XE303C12 that needs recovery.

The problem I am having is that I have always depended on the Chrome OS Image Creator, but this time it wont accept anything I put in. I mean the model shown at the bottom of the chromebook screen when you see the "Chrome OS is damaged.

I was reading that a lots of people around the world are affected because critical files needed for chromeos recovery are either empty or incomplete.

If anyone have the .bin OS, will be nice if you can share it. I will really appreciate...
