    Sharp LC70LE640U - No Picture

LED just flashes continuously, no picture, you can power off with remote. I was thinking main board, an associate commented LED Strip, or an associated smd (sensor mounted device?), but can't find an led strip associated with that model.
    Any ideas out there?

    As always, thanks for suggestions!

Re: Sharp LC70LE640U - No Picture

Thank you, I hope so? Shop Jimmy says a Main Board, Sharp says a lamp, in this service manual, it says a ROM data failure.
I can't get a straight answer from Sharp, so I am hoping if it's a ROM issue, a Main Board will do it, I picked up a T-Con for $20 just in case?

Second case scenario may be a service menu lamp reset, that would be nice?

        I appreciate the assistance!

Most common from memory is open circuit LED inside panel - a pain in the behind to fix.

Nothing at all shows up on the screen, not even for a second?
Actually my LC65D64U it was the easiest to take apart.
Metal frame with the LCD panel, came off as one unit. I have never seen that one before.
Mine, it's an older LCD model and the LED flashes continuously, after showing a blue screen and channel# for two seconds, but only on one side.
I have ordered the inverter for it.

                  Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
                  by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                  Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                  First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
                  by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                  Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                  by TR103
                  Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                  - sound and backlight, but no picture
                  - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                  - it keeps rebooting
                  - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                  - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                  - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                  - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

                  Sharp lc-70le755u flickering picture/backlight
                  by BeeShadow
Hey everyone! I inherited a "free" Sharp lc-70le755u with a strange picture issue. To try to explain, the picture flickers before what I think is a power saving mode kicks in and reduces the back light. I took a short video and uploaded it here:

                  https://imgur.com/NAou7aP

I'm thinking it could be the TCon board, but possibly the panel. Thought it might be worth it to post here and see if anyone has a better idea before I try throwing parts at it. If its the panel (which I hope its not), then I won't bother trying to fix it.
