    Vizio E320i-A2 Won't Power On

Evening. I am currently working on fixing a Vizio E320i-A2 Smart HDTV. It doesn't power on from the remote or the power button. I have tested the voltages coming from the boards. Power board seems to sending the correct voltages to the main board. Could you guys comment on the next steps to take or what may be the problem..thanks.

I'll attach a picture showing where voltages 'checked-out'. Give me one moment.

    EDIT:
Looking at the main board, The uppermost connection is to the speakers; I assume there's no voltage there due to the TV not being "powered on" and no sound being sent to the speakers.(?)
The next connection is the LVDS cable. No voltages present at all there.
Then there's the cable running power from the power board to the main board. Voltages present.
Lastly at the bottom, there's the cable running to the sensor board and the power/menu button's board.

Could the issue be the main board?

How did you get the TV disassembled Tugboat? I have all the screws out, but the TV is structurally just as strong as it was with all the screws still installed. I'm at a loss here.

what about voltages at the transistors? on the other heat sink and those 3 opto couplers I have fixed some that have voltage present but not enough and voltage regulators on main board sometimes are faulty check those too

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
          by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
          by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

          After all of...

(SOLVED) - ONN 100012588 No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

          ONN 100012588
Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

          Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....
