so i wake up this morning to turn on the tv and i get this surprise. When i turn on the tv the red led light blinks 1 time and the screen flashes once( grey looking) and then immediately goes black. I also hear a clicking noise in the process. The red led stays on constantly ( i assume that means no power). I have read alot about other problems where the led will blink 5 times or so but this is not the case with mine. I took the back panel off and had a look at the boards. I didnt see any indication of bad capacitors but i notice that the green led on the Logic board blinks continuously. Should i try to replace the board with the power supply first? Any ideas at all?

Re: Samsung #PN51D450A2DXZA N411 Black screen, no power?
Can you try this test on your control board? Since it's blinking continuously it might confirm a main board fault.

When you do the test, if the main board is faulty, the TV will power on and a sequence of display test patterns will appear on the screen. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung #PN51D450A2DXZA N411 Black screen, no power?
ok, i'm doing the test now, what is happening is the screen is showing different colors (one at a time) and other tests( like a red screen with it fading to black). The green LED is blinking continusly on the Logic board. How long am i to let this happen? will it stop on its on? what now?Comment

Re: Samsung #PN51D450A2DXZA N411 Black screen, no power?
This confirms the main A/V board is bad, unplug the TV for now and order a new board or get old one repaired.
Main A/V has HDMI ports, etc. on it.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung #PN51D450A2DXZA N411 Black screen, no power?
Tom66, you are the man!!! Thanks a bunch! I'll just order a new board. I'll google a retailer to buy from unless you can suggest a site? Anyway, to replace the main board, is it just a matter of unscrewing the old one, disconnecting and reconnecting the new one and turning on the tv?Comment

Re: Samsung #PN51D450A2DXZA N411 Black screen, no power?
ShopJimmy is a good supplier.
Order by the LJ9x-######Z part number, not LJ4x-######Z part number.
It is a good idea to match the suffix [A-Z] but that is not always possible. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung #PN51D450A2DXZA N411 Black screen, no power?
Ah, looks like your set uses BN part numbers.
So check that the sticker is marked BN96-19471A matches what is printed on your board. If so that should work fine. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
Hello,
YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo
I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.
On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.
I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.
I changed the battery with a new and original battery.
I also had corrosion/oxidation on the... -

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by totofHello,
I have my TV model UE50KU6070 which I am trying to repair.
BN41-02528A / BN94-10800C motherboard.
If I disconnect the motherboard from the power board, the backlight works. When the motherboard is connected the backlight works but the screen remains black.
When I plug the TV into the electrical outlet, the standby LED lights up but no reaction to an attempt to start it with the remote control for about 1 minute. During this minute the TV consumes about 20W.
After one minute the consumption drops to 0W and the TV can turn on with the remote control but... -
