LG50PA5500 shuts off randomly...
i have a TV that comes on just fine, then after about 5 -10 minutes will shut off. After the TV sits for several hours or a day or so, it will come on just fine again, then after a few minutes just shut off again. When it shuts off, pressing the remote ON/OFF or the ON/OFF button on the TV itself does nothing, you have to wait. I can also hear buzzing/humming noises from both boards on each end.
Random info:
clicking: only one click when i power the TV on and one click when it shuts off.
The red LED at bottom left stays on. The red LED on the video...

Samsung pn51d450a2dxza, picture but no sound
Hello, once again this TV is giving me more problems. One day i turn the tv on to find there is no sound BUT i do have picture. Does this tv have a sound card? I have already replaced the video board(main board?) about a year ago or so, then i had to replace the power supply board a few months ago. no matter if a use an HDMI port or component cable, still no sound. If i use the satellite or DVD player, no sound. I did try to hook it to my PC via the HDMI port and strangely it would either say, no signal or not supported. Then i reboot the PC and for a split second i did see the desktop( though...

Re: Samsung pn51d450a2dxza rapid blinking LED
ok, i didnt have a wire jumper, but i did just use a piece of copper wire (speaker wire i think) to try to connect PS_ON and GND together just by touching them together( was difficult), i used a hard drive jumper for the control board. plugged the tv in and nothing, no led just dead.

Re: Samsung pn51d450a2dxza rapid blinking LED
I unplugged the y-sus and z-sus boards, the ones to the far left and right. However, after plugging them back up, i still have no blinking led. Its like the thing is just dead now....

Re: Samsung pn51d450a2dxza rapid blinking LED
correction, its not a burn spot, but is there anything i can try to do before buying a new power supply? Im looking for a replacement power supply now.
edit: also, there is no clicking noise when i try to turn it on or when i plug it in the power outlet at the wall.Last edited by cprime; 07-18-2015, 07:51 AM.

Samsung pn51d450a2dxza rapid blinking LED
Hello, said tv was working fine this morning, came home this evening to find the tv will not come on. The only thing i can go by is the red LED is blinking rapidly. I can only describe the blinking would be like morse code or something, rapid with no distinct pattern. I did take the back cover off, i didnt see any bad capacitors or anything like that however i think there is a burnt spot on the board, i dont know if its burnt or not. I can upload a pic of the board if it helps!
