e320VL motherboard compatability HELP!!!

I have a e320vl i am fixing for a friend. It has faulty firmware as described in other places here in these forums. Called vizio and they refused to send new firmware. I decided to order a new mainboard. Received the new mainboard and it is different. The tv i am fixing has the AUO panel while the mainboard is from an LG panel. Is there any way to make the LG mainboard work? can i solder the connector from the old mainboard to the new one? Another mainboard is too expensive. Any way tofix the firmware without the vizio tool? thanks soo much!



The old board is on the left while the new one is on the right. The new one has some extra electronics for driving the LG panel, but it also has the spot for the AUO connector to be soldered, can i transfer this connector over?

I reckon your screwed - can you send the board back for exchange or refund less restocking?
Have you looked at e320vl eeprom kits. I believe they may come ready programmed and
you may even find a link to a member who sels them
