If you have a completely clean dump, then most likely there is poor contact in the socket with the chip, dirty pins on the chip from flux, the power supply on the programmer is set to 3.3v, using a jumper, the chip is inserted correctly, not turned 180 degrees?

For your question I checked the board and I find two ic memory, ic501_ut that is q80c-104gip that should be a en25q80c-104gip but i didn't find a lot on internet. And in position ic503 that is a 25qb-104 gip that I find easy on internet. Are they what are you looking for? I give you the photoComment

The correct one is the Q40B (not 25q as you said, but is 25Q40 entirely) most probably, if you can enlarge the view on photo (please cellular in landcape not portrait), i can see testpoints definition, or better, if you can confirm the TP that belongs to that chip is named "MPU_debug_TX" you're 100% sure it is the standby mem. and you can flash it, you can use even from different size of screen but same series..Comment

I tried to extract it from official Samsung site update file, it's very difficult, i tried this site: specifying the following params (using my imagination) and giving the "..\T-KTSU2DEUC\image\upgrade.msd" file to it , my OLD computer runs out of memory and started to give numbers.. if you want you can try yourself..

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -
by JackchingI know for sure it has a bad cap and one cold solder joint. Just wondering before i order the Caps if anyone has any experience with this model? Just making sure there isnt a common component that goes bad besides the caps....

by Doodle43My Samsung LN32B540 never turned back on after I had to turn off the power at the mains at house. It won't turn on, but the red standby led lights up when it is plugged in. If I hold down the power on the remote, the standby light turns off which I think means it is trying to turn on, but there's no sound or backlight. If I try to turn it on/off from the power button on the TV instead, it doesn't do anything at all.
It was plugged into a surge suppressor and was off (on standby) when I turned off the power,, so I don't know if it got a power surge or was on its way out anyway. I... -
by marcinqHello,
I've got a problem with a Samsung UE60KS7000 that was given to me and said that there was a problem with the One Connect box but as I understand the TV should turn on even with the One Connect box disconnected (which it doesn't). There is no stand by light.
I've disconnected the Main Board from the PSU and when connecting to mains the backlight turns on which suggests the PSU might be ok. I've measured the voltages out of the PSU and they seem reasonable (like the labels say). The main board has no obvious burns, there are no shorts on the power rails anywhere....4 Photos - Loading...
