If you have a completely clean dump, then most likely there is poor contact in the socket with the chip, dirty pins on the chip from flux, the power supply on the programmer is set to 3.3v, using a jumper, the chip is inserted correctly, not turned 180 degrees?

Hi, thanks for your help you don't need to be sorry, i thanks all you help me and I ll be happy if we fix this tv, the question is why Samsung make 1 board for everything, psu+main+tcon all in one….and I like to fix because I didn't find a main board with this model .
For your question I checked the board and I find two ic memory, ic501_ut that is q80c-104gip that should be a en25q80c-104gip but i didn't find a lot on internet. And in position ic503 that is a 25qb-104 gip that I find easy on internet. Are they what are you looking for? I give you the photoComment

The correct one is the Q40B (not 25q as you said, but is 25Q40 entirely) most probably, if you can enlarge the view on photo (please cellular in landcape not portrait), i can see testpoints definition, or better, if you can confirm the TP that belongs to that chip is named "MPU_debug_TX" you're 100% sure it is the standby mem. and you can flash it, you can use even from different size of screen but same series..Comment

I take a better photo of the chip, and a landscape, there are a lot of point of control, and I have main cpu debug tx. There are a lot of this point control and description, so I don’t know if I’m doing good. But the point near the name main cpu debug tx go to the first pin of the q40b I don’t know if it s correct or I’m checking wrongs point. Do you have the dump of it because I really don’t have hahaThe correct one is the Q40B (not 25q as you said, but is 25Q40 entirely) most probably, if you can enlarge the view on photo (please cellular in landcape not portrait), i can see testpoints definition, or better, if you can confirm the TP that belongs to that chip is named "MPU_debug_TX" you're 100% sure it is the standby mem. and you can flash it, you can use even from different size of screen but same series..Comment

I tried to extract it from official Samsung site update file, it's very difficult, i tried this site: specifying the following params (using my imagination) and giving the "..\T-KTSU2DEUC\image\upgrade.msd" file to it , my OLD computer runs out of memory and started to give numbers.. if you want you can try yourself..

davi u are really gentle, the things is the mainboard doesnt work, i dont find a replace so we can try with all we want because the other way is waiting for find a used mainboard or trash the tv so we can do all we want. i dont understand what i should do...i go to that site you give me put some parameter and it give me back the dump file? or it s or check if the dump file i have works?I tried to extract it from official Samsung site update file, it's very difficult, i tried this site: specifying the following params (using my imagination) and giving the "..\T-KTSU2DEUC\image\upgrade.msd" file to it , my OLD computer runs out of memory and started to give numbers.. if you want you can try yourself..
so i tried the site, i download the firmware update from samsung, i put the file upgrade.msd in that site but give me back after try to decrypt bad decryption....Comment

are you saying that the web page i gave you made a file for you of 1Gb? That file can contain or not the mini flash data, but i cannot receive the file, it's too big, i wonder why my pc can't handle it, maybe limited virtual ram file.. i'll check

yes david firstly i tried with other parameters but give me an error, then i look better at your photo and i put the same your parameter and i had the file it s like 1 gb, i tried to open it, and i understand it s all the firmware because there are a lot of things ahahah, so i had an idea to look for with the comand find in the text edit software to find the first words of the dump i extract from the 25q40. the problem is i have a really old pc, it s a dual core and when i try to find the first word of the dump that i have my pc freeze ahah. i give you the link of the file u can dowload on gmail if u want help me and the dump tht i read on the 25q40 is here so u can dowaload and check if you can find the part i need...if i understand what u want to do.... google drive say it could be a virus but dont worry it s only the file i download. here the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_hw...usp=drive_linkComment

very good idea, the best thing is to try to find a typical or particular ASCII string, now i'm at work, if you want i say you the trick, it cannot be opened a giant file on a text editor, you need HxD, the best hex editor, even on very very old PC no problem, UPDATE: i watched the bin on the mini flash, there are non ASCII strings except "SAMSUNG".. so not the best!! (it would be everywhere)so i had an idea to look for with the comand find in the text edit software to find the first words of the dump i extract from the 25q40Comment

by mrautom8Schematics for the main board needed please. Sticker on board states BN94-07517A but the silkscreen says BN41-02157B. Cant find here or anywhere on the web.
Backlights work when main boards disconnected. When connected and power button switched, the relay on the PSU board turns on for one second then back off.
While relay is on, all voltage rails are present and steady (scoped) on main board.
I love a good logic puzzle but getting lost without any schematics.
No shorts on ANY capacitor main board.
Thermal camera shows 3.3V inductor getting warm instantly but...-

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -
by JackchingI know for sure it has a bad cap and one cold solder joint. Just wondering before i order the Caps if anyone has any experience with this model? Just making sure there isnt a common component that goes bad besides the caps....

by marcinqHello,
I've got a problem with a Samsung UE60KS7000 that was given to me and said that there was a problem with the One Connect box but as I understand the TV should turn on even with the One Connect box disconnected (which it doesn't). There is no stand by light.
I've disconnected the Main Board from the PSU and when connecting to mains the backlight turns on which suggests the PSU might be ok. I've measured the voltages out of the PSU and they seem reasonable (like the labels say). The main board has no obvious burns, there are no shorts on the power rails anywhere....4 Photos - Loading...
