    Samsung issue LED

I have this 32" Samsung LED tv that has a funny issue.
I have included pictures. Please let me know what you all think.
I am hoping it is something like a Control Board or Tcon board.
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Turns on fine

Sounds like it's the control board for your set. You would still need
to tear apart the set and take pictures of the circuit boards. This will
help the forum to look at and give some pointers of wear to start.

T-con , LVDS cables or the TFT connections from the T-con need to be cleaned and reseated. Possible panel tab bond failure too, does the picture change if you flex the panel back and forth or apply pressure to the top edge of the set (no the plastics not the LCD).

I checked all the cables and seated them. All is good.
I pressed on all the edges and ribbons there was no change.
I dont see an actual TCON board am I right to assume it is built into the Main Board?

The ribbon cable going up that say's Panel on it is leading to top would probably be your control board, I haven't had the privilege to work on a LED yet so I will bow out and let the pro's jump in.

One thing I would try is to gently press the orange wide ribbon at the top of the panel with a toothpick or something non conductive while the panel is on and see if anything changes.

I did try that and it changed nothing.

That is not "funny" at all, it pretty "sad", imho it's a bad panel.

Sorry, but I couldn't hold back. You said, that you have a funny issue.
In my opinion, it's a bad panel. Maybe the tab problem.

You can try heating up things to see if you can get the problem to occur quicker. A hairdryer works fine. It will be temperature dependent if it gets worse as it runs. I think it is a panel problem too, you didn't specify the model # but I guess it's a Samsung D series TV (i.e. UN32D####) because they have tons of panel problems.

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
                        by vincentedel
                        Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

                        by Manucsl
                        Hello.

My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.

Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊

After reading some posts on this forum, I suspect an eeprom issue so I bought a CH341A to dump...

                        Sony KD-55X9000F TCON Issue
                        by thelankanguy
The TV shows a black screen with no image.
TCON ribbon connectors were disconnected individually for image and there was no half image even.
Later both ribbons were disconnected and TCON voltages were tested.
12V, 3.3V, 1.8V were seen present but VONE signal reads 0V.
There is also a short to ground in this circled inductor.
Is this a TCON issue or something else ?...
