    Westinghouse TX-47F430S Won't Power On

Hi, I have a 47” Westinghouse TV Model Number TX-47F430S, TW-51212-C047A. I think I bought it around 2007. For a few years now, it has gotten a little difficult to power on and I always had to unplug it and plug it back in and it'd resolve itself. Then very recently, I couldn't get it to come back on at all. We had some storms roll through and we lost power. When it came back on, it wouldn't come on at all. All I had was an orange LED illuminated on the front. My unplug/plug in trick worked after many tries and behaved very strangely (a lot of colorized static on the screen) before it would display the Westinghouse logo. It worked again for a few weeks until we had another power outage. Since I have an electrical engineering degree I thought I'd try to fix it so I did a lot of research on bad caps. I bought an ESR meter and started with the power supply (LiteOn PA-5421-1-LFREV:X4). I could not find any caps that had a bad ESR but I replaced one that was borderline. I then moved on to the main board (E89382 HannStar J MV-4, W421TA FX69 MB, 07275-1A, 48.70E01.01A) and found several capacitors with bad ESRs, notably TC51 (thanks to this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=23865). I ordered capacitors based on capacitance, voltage, temperature, and form factor and replaced all of the faulty ones I identified. I reassembled it and it still won't come on and now I don't even get the orange LED anymore. I'm not sure what else to do or how I made it any worse. I tried my best to be careful during the desoldering/soldering process. I made sure not to screw up any pads or rip out any vias. I'd be willing to buy a replacement main board and power supply but I cannot find a main board in stock anywhere. So, here are my questions:

    1) Does anyone know if there are any alternate part numbers that I can use instead of 48.70E01.01A for the main board? I can't find any stock, new or otherwise.
    2) Does anyone have suggestions for other things I should look for?

Can you post good clear pictures of the front and backs of your boards
Check that you have replaced all cables take them out and reseat them.
Check the main fuse and any other you can find - say which ones you check
    so we dont keep asking.
Check you have replaced the caps the right way round- they have polarity.
Where did you get your caps? are they a good make and low esr.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

I have attached pictures of the main board and power supply.

I have disassembled and reassembled 2 or 3 times, checking for proper seating and for bent pins. There were no bent pins and everything was seated properly.

I checked the only fuse that I could find, which is on the power supply. It has continuity.

All of the replacement capacitors were installed with the correct polarity and all were on the main board. I removed one capacitor from the power supply that I thought was bad and it tested fine with a capacitance meter and ESR meter so I had no need to replace it...I reinstalled it.

I got my caps from Mouser and all are Nichicon in several different series (PM, PW, VZ, VR, and HE). I don't think any of these were recommended caps per this post here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21004). I have found some recommended replacements from Mouser, mostly in the Panasonic FC series with one Chemi-Con KMA series (had difficulty finding a good 22uF, 16V).

Also, the relay used to click when I'd plug it in and now it doesn't. I took precautions, particularly with the main board, to wear a wrist strap. There are no components that have burn marks. None of the capacitors bulge and I replaced all of the capacitors that had questionable or bad ESR readings. I guess I need to fully test the power supply per this post to narrow down where the problem may be: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25810. Thoughts, suggestions?

OK Can you look at the two joints on the attached.

I have also marked what I think is the bridge rectifier - If it is -I dont know if you can get to the bottom of the board when it is in the tv - if not then just connect the power supply to the mains and test at the bridge for AC on the centre pins
and DC on the outer pins VERY carefully as these are high voltages.
Also work on a non conductive surface.
( I realise you have said you are an EE Grad but I will still put warnings where I see fit) - Anyone reading in the future may not be as well versed as you

I am off to bed now - didnt have time to read the other post but yes after testing for mains DC start testing the secondary voltages - you will need the boards connected to do that.

I may be a EE but I don't know squat about fixing a TV LOL, but your point is well taken.

The bridge rectifier was nearby to your marking. The two center pins measure 120 VAC. The outer pins measure 165 VDC. Additionally, I also checked it unpowered via an ohmmeter (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11JPy4t36oo) and it checks out fine as per the video in the link I included. What other suggestions do you have?

Did you check the 2 joints in the red box - they dont look good

Those are for low resistance resistors (0.43 ohms). My meter won't measure that low but I get continuity by ohming through the solder joints. Shoulder I resolder?

By the way the brown color is flux.

Yes I would reflow them and check over the rest of the board for any others
                  that look a bit odd/grey/ringed/cracked

One in bottom right hand corner is odd/brown -one leg of a thermistor I think

thats the board number on a white sticky tag should be something like 5570e01a01gxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that the part number what you are looking for
