Re: Westinghouse TX-47F430S Won't Power On
Those are for low resistance resistors (0.43 ohms). My meter won't measure that low but I get continuity by ohming through the solder joints. Shoulder I resolder?...

Re: Westinghouse TX-47F430S Won't Power On
I may be a EE but I don't know squat about fixing a TV LOL, but your point is well taken.
The bridge rectifier was nearby to your marking. The two center pins measure 120 VAC. The outer pins measure 165 VDC. Additionally, I also checked it unpowered via an ohmmeter (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11JPy4t36oo) and it checks out fine as per the video in the link I included. What other suggestions do you have?Re: Westinghouse TX-47F430S Won't Po...ay be a EE but...

Re: Westinghouse TX-47F430S Won't Power On
I have attached pictures of the main board and power supply.
I have disassembled and reassembled 2 or 3 times, checking for proper seating and for bent pins. There were no bent pins and everything was seated properly.
I checked the only fuse that I could find, which is on the power supply. It has continuity.
All of the replacement capacitors were installed with the correct polarity and all were on the main board. I removed one capacitor from the power supply that I thought was...

Westinghouse TX-47F430S Won't Power On
Hi, I have a 47” Westinghouse TV Model Number TX-47F430S, TW-51212-C047A. I think I bought it around 2007. For a few years now, it has gotten a little difficult to power on and I always had to unplug it and plug it back in and it'd resolve itself. Then very recently, I couldn't get it to come back on at all. We had some storms roll through and we lost power. When it came back on, it wouldn't come on at all. All I had was an orange LED illuminated on the front. My unplug/plug in trick worked after many tries and behaved very strangely (a lot of colorized static on the screen) before it would...
