I have this tv that turns on and the menu and volume down buttons only work. All the other buttons bring up the same menu with the remote. the buttons do the same except they bring up a different menu. Is there a reset for this or a firmware update?

It sounds like your main board is fouled up. Have you verified all your voltages to the main board? I didnt find a manual for this model, you may be able to reset the eeprom, but you would need to post sharp up close pictures of your main board so the techs here can see where the prom might be.Liberating magic smoke one part at a time

Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Samsung UE55HU8500L (curved UHD, 4K model from 2014) after replacing the panel. The new panel is a 55A1UU8EH, which produces excellent image quality — very close to the original.
However, since the swap, the TV enters a boot loop (Samsung logo → restart) unless I enter the service menu and perform a reset.
The service mode had been previously modified — possibly by a technician or during the panel swap — and I suspect some key settings are mismatched for the European (Greece) market.

The current main board on my Vizio m652i-b2 only has 1 of 4 HDMI ports working. Also, the coaxial port is not working.
So I ordered a replacement board. It boots up the tv, but the display is dark in areas, colors are off, etc. I have seen information online that a setting in the service menu may need to be adjusted. Have tried many ways to access the service menu using remote codes, but none work.
Can someone here provide the confirmed method for accessing the service menu on this tv? Thanks in advance! -

I have just replaced led set of this vestel tv due to age.
I would like to reduce backlight from service mode. I have tried menu 4725 but in the menu i can't change anything.
Any help pls? I don't want to change from electronics inverter feedback resistor ideally.
