    Samsung LE32R748BD - possible screen fault

    HI all

    I got this tv from someone who told me the screen was good but cant remember the fault, she said they tried replacing something but couldnt tell me what

    do you think the below is a screen fault or incorrect main etc ?

    the screen comes up for a second with the picture below and goes round in a loop

    Doubt screen is bad.
    Looks like a main board fault.
    If it had bad caps you should reset eeprom (pins 5-6)

        I'm not sure but the info is probably elsewhere on the 'net, I think there is a Samsung service bulletin about replacing/resetting EEPROM after capacitor replacement.

          thanks tom - the chip i found i believe is the eeprom - i have tried several times and it has changed the box slightly i can see the blue channel box just but just goes off again, im going to try a replacement main
