I have a prospective tv someone has offered to sell me. Here is a picture of the issue. Any idea what this might be?

99% bad LCD panel

Fixable Tab bond issue with the panel or should I pass this one up completely?

Pass it up, it will not be fixable in most cases.

If its super cheap like in the 20-40 dollar range, hell take a chance if anything you can recoup your funds and then some by parting it out.

But anymore then that I would walk away!

Yea I just got one of these it is a 55lm6700 though with the same problem. I was supposed to buy it for 30 but after finding it had a short in the right side of screen I wouldn't pay anything for it and he gave it to me. It's just sitting now.
