    60PC1D Schematics

Anyone have schematics for an LG 60PC1D?

I came across a set that had a blown fuse on the Power Filter Board. I replace the fuse, and started to hear crackling and smelled magic smoke. I turned it off and unplugged it, and saw the smoke was coming from the filter board. The 3 big power resistors on it were hot as blazes and cracked. I didn't notice if they were cracked before or not. What gets me is I used a fast blow 15A fuse, it's all I had at the time, and it did not blow. It calls for a T15AL, have to order some.

Anyway, everything else on the board appears to be good like the rectifiers. The only thing I see that could put a load on those resistors like that would be a shorted transformer or another board, down the circuit.

The 3 resistors that smoked were R8301, R8302, and R8303. R8302 is totally open now. That was a lot of heat.

There is a sticky above that has a link in it worth its weight in gold; its titled
    "TV Repair Reference Library"
in there is a link to a site which has what your looking for... I got it from there last night...

I have this same unit tinkering with it now too... trying to narrow down its issue; like this guys here:

Thanks Slick, I found the service manual, but it's lacking the schematics for that board. Maybe I need to check the version I downloaded. I just may drop the $25 for the board and cross my fingers. Also have the exhaust fan running if it smokes this one....lol

LoL yea first time ive seen an exhaust type fan in a TV... when I get mine operational; I will bump up the fan voltage to 12v; I always do and if a unit doesnt have a fan it gets one... People complain about fan noise; i say turn the TV Vol up! id rather have a fan hum and extend TV by several fold...
