Anyone have schematics for an LG 60PC1D?
I came across a set that had a blown fuse on the Power Filter Board. I replace the fuse, and started to hear crackling and smelled magic smoke. I turned it off and unplugged it, and saw the smoke was coming from the filter board. The 3 big power resistors on it were hot as blazes and cracked. I didn't notice if they were cracked before or not. What gets me is I used a fast blow 15A fuse, it's all I had at the time, and it did not blow. It calls for a T15AL, have to order some.
Anyway, everything else on the board appears to be good like the rectifiers. The only thing I see that could put a load on those resistors like that would be a shorted transformer or another board, down the circuit.
The 3 resistors that smoked were R8301, R8302, and R8303. R8302 is totally open now. That was a lot of heat.
