What is a good brand of a HDMI monitor that is 10” inch or smaller I am interested in purchasing one

I was looking for one on EBay but I am not sure what is considered a good brand and what is good price to consider when buying one
Feed back wanted and website links are welcome ( I would refer a new one )

I have a HP elite 8200/8300 computer that has a separate table top switching power supply ( that I planning on converting into a battery powered computer instead and I would refer a monitor that has an external switching power supply to power it )

I plan on making a battery powered battery testing machine on a computer rack system

I am not sure if this is in the right forum if not feel free to move it to the right forum

Yeah but is a good price for what it is I guess If the touch screen is not very good I guess I could find another screen to replace it with

Because I have a rack cart that I am not using for some time and would like to put it back into service again
I really do not like laptop computers because you can not get the recovery disk that you make when new and when you need to use it does not function at all or it does not complete the recovery for what ever reason

The other issue I have is that most of time you can not upgrade the memory you are lucky if can get a SSD drive to work better than a regular hard drive and if you do not have enough memory for graphics it lags when running the software for battery testing machine

This is the reason why I have chosen to use the HP elite 8200 or a 8300 computers because I have the factory recovery disk that actually works correctly and I have no issues with the computer or trying to use it on the battery testing machine and I know from a place I used to work for they also use this computer as well so I know how stable they are ( I worked there for 10 years before they closed because of Covid-19 )

Plus I can buy a full tower size computer for around $ 50.00 and sometimes less of course no hard drive sometimes no CPU or memory cost is usually inline with what comes with the computer

If I could find a way to put one of these computers in a rack enclosure I would do it instead but the ones that I have seen so far I would have to do a lot of work to make everything fit in the enclosures I have found so far now if someone could point me in the right direction to find one that I would not have to do so much work to get everything in the enclosure I would be all for it

Another issue is a battery backup that is made for a rack system are about 3 times more expensive and you also have to get a battery rack as well and they are not cheap either used

So this is the reason this system is attractive to me and the price is also a motive for consideration for me but I have not decided weather or not to do this or not because of the battery backup cost of getting one even used not working are not cheap either which I do not understand why they are so expensive used not working I can buy a 1500 watt one for less than $50.00
I try to buy a rack mount battery backup they start at $90.00 or higher the battery tray is another $90.00 or more I would like to know why this is the case

I suppose there a few good reasons, besides the recovery disk. I use laptops and never had an issue using the recovery partition. Given, my machines aren’t the cheapest either.

I personally prefer computers that have a separate partition for the recovery partition that can copy and install on another hard drive and then run the recovery partition and be back in business again but I notice that manufacturers are getting away from doing recovery partitions on system now because my gaming computer does not have a recovery partition that is actually a partition it is one that you have to make a copy on a CD I really do not like this type of recovery system ( I personally have not had good results from this type of recovery system )

My problem is that I buy the bottom of line laptops but not the bottom of the barrel ones in the past not necessarily the cheapest ones that I can find but I might be lucky enough to buy one under $400.00 or less on sale and I mostly use them for surfing the internet and reading my emails which was fine but when I tried to use them for the battery testing machine is when I realized that this was not going to work very well and to reboot one of the older laptop that originally had windows 7 installed on it and insisted on upgrading it to windows 10 made even worse in performance and to suffer the internet was a joke so I really do not have any real use for them at this point in time and now window 10 is becoming non updated able so this is even worse for me wanting to even thinking about using them for anything important

Now maybe if I decide to get a multi meter that has a data logging capability that you have to use a computer to be able see the results depending on the system requirements for the software I might find a use for one of but I think about buying one at this point in time but might consider sometime next year

• The cost of first one is less expensive but it can only do the computer the second one can do both the computer and the IPad and is only a little more expensive but not that much more

So I would have a use for one or more of my old laptops if I decided to buy one if you look at picture #12 you can see what the results look like on the screen of the multi meter data results
Because there are times when I need to data log results over time of something I am working on to know if it really is functioning properly or not and I can not always use the battery testing machine for doing this data logging

They also have a version that can be used on an iPad as well but I would prefer the computer version of it because some iPad apps are not very good in how they work and the one thing that suffers is the graphics of the graphs


This is the reason I use an iPad for suffering the internet and reading my emails and on my older iPads I use one of them for the SkyRc battery tester but this app is a little finicky when using it but it the same way when using it on the newest iPad that I have so that is the reason I used the oldest iPad that I have for this reason because it does not make any difference in performance but it does make a difference in surfing the internet not so much reading emails or responding to them

Aah! I am using higher end laptops, but not the high end ones and I get about 4 or 5 years out of it before I replace it.
