LG 60PY3DF - problem colored lines in both directions and blinking red spots

I have a LG 60PY3DF that I got from my recycling center. It had sound but no picture and researching that I ended up replacing the large board on the left side with 6 heat sinks. That brought back some sort of picture but not images from the input dvd player. Now it is showing multi colored lines around the screen with dividing lines.

These appear without any input source but the color is more bland.

I have sound and the power seems to be ok over time.

    I have posted 2 photos.

    Any help here is appreciated.

Funny I just picked up a 60pc1d-ue with a similar issue... When I turn mine on i get a top to bottom stripe; this is where it is showing the screen saver logo i assume...

when I put a source to it i get half the screen all crazy colors and the other half trying to display the image; sound is fine...

I suspect it is an issue with either the y-buffers, y-main, or z-sys...
Im downloading the service manual now to go from there... so far no blown fuses on any of the y or z boards; however i did find one bad/top bulge cap on the power board which I replaced already...

looking at it again though before posting i am gonna say the 4 IPMs is the issue and swap em out; but i did read somewhere else it could be some caps on the y-main on the small upright board... I cant verify this for sure yet...

Likely bad buffers. Could be a Y-sustain fault. I doubt it is a Z-sustain fault.

Most likely Vscan voltage to the buffers is bad. If the panel is steady and not flickering the IPMs are probably OK. Check Vsc should be about 140 to 150V.

I checked the resistor R60-Vsc one side of the resistor is 116v and the other side is 6v... =| LoL

I tested voltage to/on the y-buffer boards on the 15v legs of the P1 and P2 connectors on the y buffers I get 22v.

Vs and Va match panel specs at 194.# to panel 193 and 60v to 60v on ymain.

        update:
After noticing the split voltages on R60 i started to test other resistors and several are open... =| hmmmmm hows this thing even working a little bit still is beyond me lol

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

          Vizio M58Q7 colored horizontal lines
          by rapid911
Hi guys, I have a Vizio M58Q7-J01 and now there are some colored horizontal lines on the screen. Could someone tell me if it's probably a panel issue or something related to other parts and can be fixed? Thank you in advance....

          Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
          by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

LG 47LV5500-UA Vertical Colored Lines/Alignment Issue
          by Superluminal
Hi all, looking for some input on this one. I've been reading the forums for quite some time but this is my first time posting for help.

          LG 47LV5500-UA
          10 years old
          20,000+ hours on it.

Watching TV on it last week and right while I was watching the image suddenly started experiencing the symptoms in pics. Rainbow chromatic vertical lines and alignment issues. The issue is uniform across the entire panel. It does not come and go, the symptoms are stable.

Here is what I've tried so far:
          - Factory reset and cycle of picture options....

          Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
          by jeyoung12
          Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
