Weird faults caused by ribbon-connections--Have you had any?

I had a nice one just recently.

A Philips 42PF5521 plasma. (Horrible sets, Never have a nice picture, always grainy and noisy)

There was a vertical strip of the picture that was perfect--But completely reversed, left to right!

Removing, cleaning and re-seating the ribbons from the Control-board to the bottom address boards cured the problem

What weirdness have you found that was just a poor connection of a plug/ribbon etc....

I had one where half the picture was crazy noisy, the other half was dead.
On a Vestel Freeview board inside a TV, I had one that was working fine, but if you turned off the TV, it would lock up, Reseating the ribbon fixed that.

Got a philips 40pfl4707 for cheap to work on and the person I got it from had replaced power board to get it running and then tried to get a remote to work with the unit. The IR board was replaced and did not help. Then the tv went dead again and he sold it to me. I get it home and and it worked great minus the remote. I thought , ok maybe the IR he got was bad so I got another. Still no remote. I checked out power and main board and reinstalled them and then I had a dead tv. It turned out to be the ribbon cable from main board to IR board. I guess just cheap cables. Got it running out in the garage and watch my golf on weekends. Great picture!

I've got a 40PFL4707 that was dead, so I replaced the power supply that didn't fix it. I got the new one, that did not fix it so I checked the pins on the ribbon cable where it connects into the main. It had voltage on and on the board. So i ordered a main board and installed the damn thing still don't work. it. Does anybody have a schematic for this tv? I need to confirm the voltages going into the main, and from the main to the ir board. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
