SANYO CES32WSD7-B Blurry Screen - Help Please

    Hello all,

    I have a Sanyo CES32WSD7-B

The tv set turns on fine and you can hear and see an image. Sometimes the image is perfect, and other times, it is very blurry, or the image moves in slow motion, with a residual kind of effect. For example if someone walked across the room, you can still see them where they were initially standing for a second or two before it catches up.

Like I said sometimes the picture is perfectly fine.

I highly doubt its the ariel, or the screen.

Any suggestions what I should check?

    Thanks in advance.

Is it intermittent, like changes from good, then bad etc...or it's however it decides to fire up,thats how it stays?

Probably the tabs on the LCD panel itself. Sometimes it can be cured by attaching foam-rubber or summit to put light pressure where these attach the glass at one end and the PCB the other.
This is not a proper repair--only panel replacement is a proper cure.

Yes I would say it is intermittent.

Sometimes you turn it on and it's completely blank and stays that way.

Sometimes you turn it on and it has a picture but then goes blurry, and/or blank.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the attaching rubber method? a bit confused here.

Any other suggestions as well would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your help so far.

This is a Vestel made TV so I am guessing it has a Chimei or AUO panel, which are well known for tab bond faults.

You can try shimming the tabs but it may not be economical to repair; look up youtube - "Tab bond repair Sony".

                  Hi guys
I'm trying to fix this laptop screen

Basically the owner is a computer shop and they brought it to me with two screens. They said the repair shop they use could not fix it, so I thought i would try to see if I am better than their current repairer!

OK so I have the original screen which works but has lines across the bottom quarter of the screen

I have the replacement screen, which they fitted and it worked. They then put the laptop on one side for a couple of weeks until they found a buyer. When they showed it to the buyer, the screen would...

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
                  by smic717394
                  Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

                  Sanyo DP5834 - Gray Screen
                  by toddw65
                  Hey All,

I have a Sanyo DP5834 that did have an issue with the backlights, but I disassembled the unit and repaired the LED strips by resoldering all of the connectors. Now I've reassembled it and I have backlights and sound, but a grayish screen. I can tap on the screen and see that it's on, but no picture. All voltages seem to be correct on the power board.

Based on the LCD Flat panel TV troubleshooting guide by Bud Martin, I'm thinking the T-Con has failed because I'm getting 12v both into and out of FP1 on the T-Con. Am I on the right track?

                  Thanks,...
