Samsung LN40D550 Horizontal Lines except at bottom

    Hello,
This Samsung tv LN40D550 shows horizontal lines across the screen. The bottom part doesnt show any lines at all, it looks normal. I disconnected one of the ribbon cable from t-con to Flex pcb and the lines dissapear and the hald that remains connected looks good. Replaced T-con Board and still the same. I tried applying pressure with pads on flex pcb but no change.

Is the panel defective or what would it be your suggestion guys?
Let me know if better pictures are required.

    Thank you

If the half is otherwise working OK, I would suspect a problem on that board with a component loading down some clock signal. If you have a scope, you could try tracing it. Bear in mind, the D series Samsungs are terrible for panel faults, too many are failing because of it.

What labels are there near those connectors? I see VGAMA but am more interested in things like CLK or RL0N, BR2P, etc.

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
            by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

            Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
            by Rubenlily
            Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

            Samsung UN46C8000XFXZA vertical bars/horizontal lines

I posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.

The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went...

I just acquired this 3D LED yesterday and it has horizontal lines on a little more than half of the screen. When I first turn it on it has thin black lines going across that makes the image look serrated, and then shortly after patterns of thicker red lines fade in. If I turn it off and right back on it will reset to just the black lines and the red will again fade onto the screen.

I initially thought tab bonds, but flexing the bezel makes no difference, and the fact the image sort of resets after cycling power is different. I haven't opened it up yet to actually test applying...
