    HannSpree T280H odd problem

HannSpree T280H The TV turns on just fine and you could be watching a show then all of a sudden the screen will start swiping through colors and none of the buttons will make it stop you need to unplug it then plug back in and all is fine again. Does not matter on what input or if the TV is warm or not. See the video for what I mean.

I have no clue on this one.

    Re: HannSpree T280H odd problem

I just got a Samsung 40" LCD doing something close to this, the panel would turn on slowly, screen would be scrambled (no audio) then it would shut down after a second it would come back with a different screen issue (lines/dots/ solid colors) (sometimes a god awful feedback noise through the speakers) then shut down. After a couple of times doing this it would snap back to normal.

I pulled the back off and replaced the 2200 and 1000uf caps, that seems to help the slow initial turn on but did not fix the multiple on and off screen malfunctions. I got into the service menu and did a hard factory reset and that seem to fix it a little more so that it only did it the power on scrambled screen then off then on back to normal.

So I went to Samsung and downloaded the 2 part firmware upgrade and it seems to have fixed the problem as it has not done it at all over the last week.

I think someone was inside the unit before me as 2 screws were missing and they might have replaced a mainboard or something. To me it seems like it was going through some sort of panel mode/resolution check by itself and once it found the right signal it stayed on.

I don't know anything about the HannSpree but if you can check the firmware maybe do a hard reset or upgrade might solve it, I know it worked on this model of Samsung.

I would try but so far I can not find out how or if there is a "hard reset".

I guess the model could also be HT09

I have seen some off brand tvs that you can put into a test screen by pushing certain buttons, What I would do is disconect the cable going to the buttons and see if that helps, if it does the buttons are causing it to go into a test mode of some kind.
            Its easy to try.

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
                by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
                1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
                2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
                3. Problem: TV shuts down

Lift Master Garage Door wall switch display / motion sensor controller display disappeared no back light
                by sam_sam_sam
This happened last Saturday and today I finally had time this morning before I went to work to replace two non brand capacitors

I will let you be the judge weather or not these are bad or not according to the blue ESR meter that I am using

I am comparing them to a brand new one that I installed

The display came back on and the programming was not lost which I was surprised by I would have thought that when the display went blank that so did the memory as well

I going to let it run for several days before I remount back on the wall next to the...

                i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...
