Sony KDS-55A2000 Yellow Patches in Picture

I turned on my TV tonight and noticed yellow patches or blotches in picture even on the menu. Is a SXRD Type. Is has the three liquid crystal generator setup. What one of the three would cause this or is the whole block one assembly? Thoughts or suggestions?

That is blue module failure. Very common wih these sets from what I have seen. UV light from lamp assembly (especially if aftermarket bulb used) damages the module.

Right after I posted it, my wife asked. Have you tried turning it off and and back on. I said no. Strange thing just to appease her, it worked! What are the odds of that! I know it will probably back but now at least I have a heads up on the problem. We just came back from Church. Praise the Lord that it working because we are having to buy another central AC unit this week.

I have replaced the bulb twice before, It uses a clear projection bulb like a DLP projector. It had three Liquid crystal devices I beleive. I just located and downloaded the Service Manual. I am sure it will be toast soon if the modules are unobtainable.

          by CyberPhoenix
Hello, Last week I bought the 50" Sony X80j tv everything was working fine, untill I plugged the tv in a ups power supply 650va the tv remote control became unresponsive and the TV became laggy after a while the picture quality isn't the same as before the tv seems less brighter and the picture is somehow blurry, people's faces don't look as natural as before, there is a mini orange-pink tint to the edge of people's faces especially in NETFLIX Dolby Vision like in One Piece ep1 Alvida skin tone, my intention was to protect the tv but something went wrong I checked the ups with a multimeter,...

          Philips 37pfl560: Yellow picture
          by madyoyo
          HI.

I have a weird problem with an old Philips 37pfl560 TV i put out of storage: the picture have a noticeable yellow hue, and its not caused by the settings (did a factory reset). I've never seen this before. I will try to get a photo with a real camera, with my phone its hard to see because of automatic white balance, but in real live the whites are really yellow.

Anyone have an idea of what can cause this? Can CCFL tubes get "warmer" with time? This tv have several analog inputs,so its nice for retrogaming....

Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?
          by noisykid
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...

Sony XBR 49x900E - Sound and backlight on but no picture
          by DKWS89
          Hey Guys,

So a few months ago my Sony XBR 49x900e TV screen stopped displaying the picture but the backlight comes on and I still get sound when I use the remote and navigate to certain apps. I haven't checked anything with the meter yet but started with ordering some replacement boards. I've tried replacing the BMKS board (used from ebay) and also completed the firmware upgrade based on Nicks TV repairs youtube video. I've also replaced the TCON (twice) and PIB.

All of these changes have resulted in the same issue with no picture. I've also tried disconnecting the ribbons...
