No nothing arced and it worked until I tried to reset the ribbons. Oh well this TV is a mess

Final question on this one, the only way TV will stay on is if remove all connections to SC and SS. Tried isolating SD and SU with same 7 blinks. So SC went bad?

Or you have an A board fault and it's just got worse, would also explain part picture. Try heating the A board up maybe?

AS in sd/su disconnected and SC50 jumpered?

Yes SD/SU disconnected and SC50 jumpered I still got 7 blinks.
