    samsung UN55ES8000FXZA intermittant lines

    Hi All
This TV has intermittant vertical green lines throughout the entire screen. I replaced the T-Con, main board and the ribbon cable connecting the two boards. The client got the parts but when I replaced them the TV came on with the image upside down. After about an hour going through the system menu trying to rectify this the original fault came back, intermittant vertical green lines throughout the entire screen. Any ideas?

Do you have a picture of the fault? It sounds like the lcd panel itself could be faulty. With the original boards was this intermittent?
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Yes I would say there is some kind of panel fault. Are the green lines going vertical and move with the images on the screen?

Ok. So the image dissappears? Would really like to see a picture of the fault when it is happening to determine further.

Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090
                by Falki
Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

                Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
                by Rubenlily
                Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

                Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
                by jeyoung12
                Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
