Decided we needed something bigger than a 32" inch TV at the apartment so after keeping an eye on stuff for a while, I found this TV for really cheap...
Need to order a few caps. Those long skinny caps are a value I haven't seen before. They are 47uF 500V. Never seen 500V caps before in a SMPS. These are Chang CD264 series. I'm guessing 450V caps would be a suitable replacement? (http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...421-ND/2618956) or (http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...82-ND/31343380)
All the caps on the PSU are Chang except for a CapXon, and two 220uF 16V Aishi WH caps, which I plan on replacing with nichicon PW.
The (what I think is) the LED inverter board has Taicon, so I was planning on leaving those.
The mainboard has two xunda caps and a SW cap. I was going to replace these with low ESR caps, or is it not even worth replacing caps on the main board? I want the set to last a long time
I uploaded a picture of the panel info so tom can tell me if it's decent or not
