ok so got my new tcon boards today from ebay and the problerm looks worse so i gues its another faulty iterm from ebay ?

what would of gone on the tcon to cause the v lines ? could i fix one of the boards i have

Didn't you get that flash chip swapped? Not sure on cause.

I guess you have to send it back but maybe check here first:

Different panel... but maybe fault is similar.

I don't understand. Your old CTRL from wrong size panel didn't have the lines, just distorted image right?
Two faulty boards is unusual though.

yer thats right tom with a 50" lg t-con i have no lines just pink patches but with the right t-con im getting the lines heres the panel number PDP60H30001

What is Va rating on your panel and what are you measuring it at and then adjusting it to?

va is 68v i have meter on 600v i drop it to 55v the line r nearly gone just the picture dont look great ?

Wow with Va that high I'm surprised panel didn't fry. I thought you checked all voltages?

they was 1v some 2 v out to low do you know if my spair board ebr54863601 would fit . looked on ebay and for same model theres diffrent part numbers for the ctrl

va is ment to be 68v as panel says i turned down to 55v . think you thought i ment va was 600v lol its not thats what i have meter on 600v

Are you sure you are not misreading 58V as 68V?

A Va of 68V on this new-ish panel is rare. (2009 panel.)

Check MAX VOLT text, probably indicates 56/57V max for Va?

68V could easily fry a modern panel...

says max 68v witch is what it was on when i get lines but if i drop down the lines get better still not 100% but better

ok so ive cleaned all ribons on t-con both ends but still got these lines ?

I was reasonably confident that your 50" T-con works if it just gave that distortion.
Both original and new t-con would seem to be dodgy, IMHO.
