The lines move? Do they follow bright picture content.
          Probably not panel...

Could be a Vsc or -Vy voltage problem, or a control board issue.

              Re: lg ps8000 vertical lines

Do NOT increase Va. You will fry the panel! Make sure it is set to stock rating. I would also leave Vs at stock setting, as the problem isn't likely to be caused by low/high Vs.

I'd start by checking -Vy and +Vsc; if you need help with this post the LG Electronics PDP50K9##### (or similar) number which is written on the rear panel of the plasma screen.

OK, I got the panel doc.

                  Check page 220 for Vs/Va
                  Check page 222 for -Vy/Vsc
                  Check page 226 for Vzbias

Did you adjust them to match the panel sticker? What were they measuring before?

Looks like -Vy is increased too much. I'd jumper control board test patterns.

50PS3000 is a completely different model, with a different panel, so I would say no it won't work. In general you can't put 60" CTRL in 50" TV or vice versa because the drive waveforms are bad.

I'd try tweaking -Vy to get rid of the pink. Then focus on Vsc. What are your -Vy and Vsc supposed to be?

Well, it could be because 50" and 60" are different panels - pic of fault?
