Common fault on these, I had that problem too, it will give standby but no run power (24V measures ~4V.) Its for the audio amplifier.

Bit tricky to find as its in parell with d882 d883, had to remove one leg to test it.

That was it, 1 bad diode but I changed the two to make sure.
Works fine now.

Nice one, shorted diodes truly are the end of many Vestels - nice easy fix but crappy design!
