Here's a quick rundown, I've done tons of research on this but haven't found the answer I need yet. So I put it to you guys to see if you may have an answer for me.
I have a JVC LT40X887 TV that had an issue with the power supply and needed the transformer reflowed. So unfortunately I tested it with the back off, and you guessed it. I was booby'd. So now of course every thing is all buttoned up and the TV is fixed but, you guessed it, HDMI's aren't working. So I researched and found I need to reset the hdmi's via self check in the service menu. Only problem is I don't have the original remote.
So my questions:
Do I have to have the original remote to access the service menu or can this be done via the button on the tv
Or is there a way to reset this via jumpering pins on the board itself.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
