Sony BRAVIA 46XBR Trouble After Replacing Panel

I work on these Sony Bravia 46XBR and X3100's all the time they are usually all I fix. I had one that had a cracked screen and I scored a brand new panel for $100. The panel of course isn't really brand new it's from 2007 but it's supposedly never used. It also came with a T-Con board and interver boards.

I installed the new panel and at first all looked well but after a few minutes there was a slight glow around the edge of the screen and after a bit longer the screen would flash negative and flicker. I cleaned the ribbon cables from the T-Con board to the panel and that seemed to have helped allot now there is just the occasional snowy patch appearing on the screen.

I'm yet to do more work trying to find the problem but I'm hoping the issue could be in the T-con board or on the ribbon cable of the side where it goes into the panel which I have not cleaned because I would have to take the entire panel apart to get to them, when I buy more spray cleaner I may be able to get in there without removing them though.

What's everyone's opinion on this does it seem like symptoms of a faulty panel or a bad T-Con board?

After changing out the backlights I have a single green vertical line on the left side of the screen. Is there any way to fix it? I tried putting pressure on all the tabs and on the top of the panel but neither helped.
Does Sony epoxy all their panels or just the expensive ones?

Sony KD-70X690E Bravia; Bad TCON? Bad panel?
    by swrb898
What's wrong with my TV: the TCON, the panel, or something else? I'm stuck.

    Problem:

Last week, my Sony KD-70X690E 70" stopped displaying a picture. The TV powers on, and the back lights power on. However, the TV doesn't seem to boot up. I say this because the SONY splash-screen logo does not display, nor does any picture display, nor can I invoke a menu by pressing "Menu" on the remote. Other than back-light bleed, the screen is black.

My troubleshooting got me this far:

With the left-hand TCON to bottom-board ribbon cable...

Sony KD-75XF9005 grey Picture but Sound. TCON or panel?
    by iglitare
    Hi,

i want to repair a Sony KD-75XF9005 TV that initially only showed a grey picture.
Backlight seems to work, Sound (Setup menu after reset) works.
If i dissconnect the left FFC cable from TCON to panel i have half a screen on the right. If left cable is connected always only the grey screen.
Interchanged the cables, its always only the right side that is working. Always grey if left side is connected.
With my small knowledge i would think at least the cables are good.

Can this happen because of a bad tcon board?
Or is it always a bad/shorted...

Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on
    by PopsCaps
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...
