philips master/slave inverter

i picked up a philips 47pfl7432d/37 . the previous owenr said that the tv screen. would get dark on on one side of the screen. i opened the back up noticed the caps
on "s" slave board were both only half on.i solidered them back on and powered up the set. the left hand side is a little darker than the right.
will both boards need replaced (master &slave )?
can i get a inverter board repair kit ?
the slave board is. kubnk133lb. rev0.4 6632l-0393b
the master is 6632l-0392b

Can you post a picture of the back of the set as well as the inverters? It does sound like a bad inverter. I would replace the caps on both inverters, and a"new" one if you decide to replace.
Check the slave inverter board for shorted mosfets, and the driver chip for a hole or a burned out pin. These faults are common on inverters.

after the set is on for 5-10 minutes the screen starts to get darker and darker
and. you can hear the master board working harder.or so it seems.
i was afraid one of the boards waa gona go out for good so i turnsd the powee off.
this set is a 42pfl7432d/37. it has led lights in the back cover..
anyone know where or what board they plug into ??
so is the slave for the back light ? and the master for the picture?

Well i got a used set ..but there is still a dark shade on right side of the screen.
I do believe that this slave inverter is failing .
just wondering if a rebuild kit would solve this prolbem

Can you show a picture of the fault?
If you can get ahold of a neon bulb you can see if an inverter is working or not.
