What to do? Got new board.....

I ordered a new main board for the Vizio I'm working on and one connection is different on it. Can I simply remove the connector on my old board and solder it to the working board? If so would I need to remove the other connector from the working board or can I just leave it on there? I'll post pic to show what I'm talking about....

    Thanks for the help!

Is that connector for a subwoofer in the back of the TV? If so, you probably can't put it in, because there are some other missing parts which would drive that subwoofer.

No sir... It connects to the power supply. It's the left connector in the pic.

Might be additional power for audio amplifier - without it - amplifier may not work or it may not be as loud.

Your photos are too small to make much out on.

I can do better pics if need be. I just had my phone on me at the time. So it's ok to go ahead and hook it all up and try it out without that one connection?

Got everything together and all works like it should, sound, pic. The only thing that doesn't work is the wireless card. So would that one connection have anything to do with the wireless?

Do both boards have a WiFi module?
