5077 seems to code for the version you have, though.

The power supply has the D854 not a 5V and this voltage comes from A-Board.
      D854 near PC801 secondary side.
In addition to the IC802, is also A-Board with error???
Or if IC802 works then is also 5V on D854?

I'm lost. What do you mean?
All the tests so far indicate IC802 is bad.

Yes the IC802 is bad. I only ask because of 5V on IC854.

Signal from A-board comes later .. only starts IC802 and secondary is 24V, 17V and 9V be there. Is that so?

IC802 should start as soon as relay power is applied. The PFC starts only when the A board sends the on signal.

Probably the first thing the A board does is turn the main power rails on, checks they're OK, then turns PFC on.

This also allows for the "recorder mode" (where the screen does not light, but the TV outputs video through SCART terminal to VCR) to be more efficient, as PFC is quite power inefficient, especially under low loads.

It means that firs comes 24V, 17V, 9V and then comes signal from A-Board for start PFC?
If so, then the A-Board good.

Yes, that's the idea. Recorder mode would only use about 10 watts, so no point in starting PFC. It is only legally required from 75 watts upwards, and would waste another 3 to 5 watts at that low load level.

                      Another question,
can Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal compound for PC is also used in LCD TV power supply, or must be one special thermal paste for an LCD TV?

You can use any type of non-electrically conductive thermal paste.
Arctic silver is quite expensive, nearly any old stuff will do the job.

                          Hi...i'm a new member..

i read all thread (with a very delay) because i've the same problem.
i ask to you: i can try replace the IC802 directly or i absolutely must do all checks?

                          Thanks!

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                            Assuming...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
                            by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
                            by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
                            by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

                            After all of...

Modification to a ZD-987 desoldering/soldering station using a external switching power supply
                            by sam_sam_sam
I have been working on this concept for quite some time now with limited success but recently I found a switching power supply that is setup for the voltage that this soldering station needs to operate at however it also needs part of the secondary circuit from the original switching power because you need several voltage rails

I once tried to get a ZD-915 desoldering station to work on a 18 volt battery power supply but unfortunately things did not go well but I did find a work around but I might try this idea again but going at a little differently more about this another time...
