    Polaroid TLA-01911C

Looking for some advice on a Polaroid TLA-01911C, so here's what I've tried so far:

    1. Original power supply had bad caps, when plugged into ac led was solid orange and would not turn on.
    2. Ordered replacement power supply.
    3. Connected new power supply and power led goes from solid orange to solid blue when trying to power on. It will not power off via the on/off switch.
    4. Panel was still black no apparent video, so I thought the backlight was bad. Also connected an antenna to check if there was sound but no video, there's no sound nor video.
    5. Disassembled the panel, which is a Proview PV190WTVM C94H, and found that the CCFLs were fairly dark at ends and they do not power up.
    6. Tried the flashlight trick to see if the panel is coming on, no luck there.

I have a multimeter but have very limited experience using one. So, my question is would one go to the trouble of trying a new mainboard? Or is this just a lost cause?

    Thanks,
    Brad

Good clear pictures of the boards would help

the CCFLs were fairly dark at ends and they do not power up.

Do you mean the set will not power them up or you have tried with another
    inverter/board/tube tester.

Here are the pics, tried to make them as clear as possible. The set will not power the CCFLs, I don't have an inverter/board/tube tester to try. Probably will need to acquire one.

There appears to be more then one problem - was the power supply board
said to be tested and working? ( Not that that seems to mean much)
Do the lamps not even flash at all?
Can you locate the BLon pin on the connector to the main board.
With it connected you need to test the voltage on it forst when the set is off
then again as you turn it on.
May need to put a thin wire into the connector and test to that unless you can
        safely test.
