Re: LG 50PC1DA problem
You could also repair your board. You need to test each buffer as detailed in that link to see which is bad. eBay boards are a crap shoot. A great deal do not work at all. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: LG 50PC1DA problem
If you've never soldered then you're best having someone else do it as it is fairly tricky work. I've done a similar board before, it's best with hot air. The repair cost is under £10 mostly, the FETs are usually cheap parts.
I've had good and bad luck with ebay boards. Generally there are only a few companies and individuals on there which test their boards well. The boards are also quite expensive due to the high failure rate. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

They are the three-leaded (if including the metal tab) devices at the top right of the board. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: LG 50PC1DA problem
Ok so i waited for the chinese new year to pass and ordered a load of FETs for the telly . They arrived and i had 6 new ones fitted to the buffer boards. On plugging back in bingo everything spot on .see pic 1
After two days i switched on and was watching telly for approx 2 hrs then the picture started flickering black and white , you could see a distorted pic through the black . if you press the menu button this was also messed up you could just make it out. I switched it off left it ten mins then switched back on and everythng ok. approx ten mins later it started again. sound is always spot on .
link to what tv does when flickering

Re: LG 50PC1DA problem
Hold on -- could still be a Y-sustain fault. You'd want to check the -Vy, Vsc and Vzbias voltages to be sure... post a picture of the sustain boards if you need help with this. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by Zeonalbastai have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double... -

Hi. I have a problem that has been going on for some time (2-3 years). It's hard to explain what it really is. Sometimes, my computer stops playing music, stops videos (starts buffering on youtube), there is no sound in games and when I minimize the game window and return to the game there is a black screen with window borders... -
by perzyk23Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise.... -
by SDNarciaHello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.
