    e esham AV320PD

I was given this tv e esham AV320PD as it was dead. I fixed the power supply, the problem there was blown fuse, two caps, bridge rectifier, and main filter cap. Scart input works fine but the hdmi is giving me this screen shown in pic. Any ideas on a fix.

Make sure you're not feeding it with 1080p, some of these sets cannot handle 1080p.

I've seen this before feet It 720 P. if that doesn't straighten it out you might have a HDMI IC codec failure. this is the chIp that the HDMI feed into the main board

I only put a 2nd class stamp on them, maybe it wasn't enough. Lucky I saved. I get another set out this week.

It's pretty typical around this area, not very reliable. Worst case, I'm sure we could arrange some way to slowly upload them over the internet.

Troubleshooting PFC with SPC1012T not raising output
                            by CoppellTVRepair
It has been a long while since I posted here to ask anything....hope you can help.

I have this Samsung power supply that uses SPC1012T as driver for the PFC and it's giving me a problem that I can't narrow down though I've troubleshooted and fixed hundreds of boards similar circuits.

I am attaching a schematic from a different Samsung board, but the topography is very very similar if not 100% the same and it uses SPC1012T, which BTW is a pinout match to UCC28063 for which there's plenty of information. I haven't confirmed they are functional equivalents, but I strongly...

Got a case of something new weird at work. There is an old 2nd gen Intel i3 in an old “Pizza box” shell that has a small form factor power supply. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures and model number off it.

Anyway, I get to work and get to look at this computer. Standby LED on the PSU is on, but the computer won't start. Hmm o.k. take the battery out of the main board try again, nothing. O.k. then… unplug the power supply from the main board and put in a full size ATX PSU (yeeeesss! Exact that blown Powerman IP that I fixed a while back), plug it in and the old...

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
                            by rounin
                            Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

                            🛠 Original Issue
                            The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

⚠️ New Problem: One USB-C Port Only Works in One Orientation...

Burco BCPLSAFWM5L 5 Litre Wall Mounted Automatic Water Boiler With Filtration UK 240v

Does anybody have any experience with these Burco units at all there is no record of them on the forum lol and a proper service manual would be nice. I invite you all to pesuade me not to botch repair it with a 5v relay, read on.

This unit was rescued from a skip 3 years ago, the only fault it had then was no backight display (plus it wanted a new probe set and top seal) but the screen was never an issue you can still see the screen as is and I just use it to get 5 Litres of very hot...

                            Hello mates,

I bought this subwoofer a few days ago used and blind and it works erratically, as far as I could see, it has been tampered with, the speaker is not the original one and of 8 Ohm when it should be of 4, and there are some welds like reworked by the boards.

It doesn't have much power (expected more from it) and it distorts if you increase the volume over the middle, maybe it's because of the high impedance of the speaker. The problem is that it has sound when it wants, the led panels all work correctly, you can hear the power relay on power on, but right now...
