Measuring all the possible components:
RP803: 30 ohms
RP823: 67.6 ohms
RP802: 9.98 (@10k ohms)
BD803 reads 0.4 ohms short circuit

I just made the order for the PFC IC on ebay and should be here in a couple of weeks.
I was checking the internal diagram of the FAN7530 IC to see what is bad.
I noticed that the CS pin is connected to a 40k resistor to ground from the diagram. However when measuring CS to ground I have a 0.4 ohm reading. Is that really a short indicating the IC is bad?Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

No - external to the IC there is a low ohm resistor to ground. You can probably follow the trace from it. It is shown in schematics.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

I have Samsung UN65MU6300FXZA with Mainboard BN41-02662A, dead , No Standby Light. I suspect result of main power jumping. Checked all voltages on main board ok,..
My main suspect is bad flash memory, ...

i have here Samsung UE55AU8072U no standby light.
Panel model : CY-SA055HGXY1V
Motheboard model : bn41-02844A bn94-16868V
When i press the power button,standby light turn on,after i release it immediately turns off.
Unplugged main board from power supply - BACKLIGHTS COME ON.
I think the motheboard is problem.
I fixed two TV with same mistake,but they were 6000-series,there was a problem with the contents of the w25q40 chip.
Here are all dumps : ic801(24c512),ic1603 and ic1604(25q40).... -
Hi, I'm new here and looking for some advice on how to diagnose an issue i have with 2 samsung TVs.
I have a UE32J5500AK and a UE48H6400AK both with the same issue of red light but nothing happening on the screen, the red light responds to remote or button press by flashing once but stays red. I have searched forums but most turn up a blinking red light.
I have tried replaceing the power board on the UE32J5500AK last year but this resulted in the same outcome.
The UE48H6400AK recently developed some small bright areas on the screen, then last week would not power... -
I had a Dead Samsung UN65MU6300FXZA with Mainboard BN94-12440E
Dead / No Power / No Standby Light results after power company had three
consecutive power outages on/off/on/off/on/off after which TV was rendered unresponsive.
After exploring the issue found Mainboard was the fault. Then with research on this site determined IC1604 was the suspect. The IC1604 is a surface mounted device (SMD) EEPROM, Winbond Model 25Q40CLSIP. A read on this EEPROM came back with all FF FF FF FF FF in all registers blank and empty of data.
