    Digihome 32" LED TV

Hi all so i picked up this set today, very nice looking set to Digihome 32" LED TV, plugged the set in and nothing happened no lights nothing, no buzzing from psu, nothing my problem is there seem to be no test points i can see or internal fuses. nothing seems to look or smell bad either

Cannot find a schematic of that PSU. Do you have a part # on the main board? Start by checking voltage across those 400V/450V capacitors on the primary.

Nothing printed on main board? Not on power board. It looks to be under that yellow sticker.

as tom suggests test the voltage across one of the 450 v caps there is a fuse a red barrel type by the white power cord connector.

OK 340V is fine. Next, see here, check voltage from red points to ground.

OK, each of the diodes I pointed out, can you unplug TV and check them on ohms. Any shorted? Hold probes for 5 seconds before reading.

ok checked ohms the top 3 diodes showed 00.0 so these look ok is that right. the bottom diodes seemed to wonder and not settle

Nice! Shorted diode, could be easy fix.

Chop top lead of each diode but in such a way that you can reconnect it with solder.

Then check on meter each diode (you want to test the diode, not the open circuit you've just created!)

Reconnect any diodes not shorted and re-attempt powering set up.

Replace ALL diodes in that section with new ones of same or better type. Do not mix diodes, use all diodes from same batch or tape.

probably gonna have to order new diodes first, will just replace the lot

If you get some sidecutters at the right angle of the lead you can probably cut that there giving you room to probe the diode and resolder it back in for a quick test. You can run TV temporarily (max 5min) with 2/3 diodes.
