Re: hp elitebook 850 g5 bios password
Hi All,
I have an Elitebook 850 G5 with Bios lock.
Tried 128mb dump with RCUnlocker, unlock - ok but after that NB does not start - FAN spin and no picture.
I can confirm that the unlock algorithm works fine,NVRAM is deleted(compared to new and unlocked dump).
Anyone have experience with this model?Maybe I need to modify the 256mb flash?
By comparing 840 G5 main dumps(locked/unlocked) I can see some difference in User Area(there "A.d.m.i.n.P.W...)...

Fujitsu E548 NVME(Sata OK) SSD not detected after reflashing Bios
Hi All,
I have a two identical Notebooks,one with Admin pass and another one without.
1. I have used unlocked Bios dump with cleared ME+replaced Serial nr and Windows Key.
2. All went fine except NVME won't detect anymore,SATA M.2 work Ok.
Tried default settings, clear TMP, update the latest Bios included new ME Update.
As last chance will try to replace ME region from the update file(still in process)

Problem with reflashing solved(J7 connector+some resistors),but the issue/no picture is still here.
Tried few Bios Dumps and few EC dump - all same.
I think that MEC is dead,no LED and Full speed FAN(also with clear ME)
Any expierence with this EC,its possible to test it without desoldering/replacing?

Hello All,
I got a T460 with issue - No picture - Fan on full Speed and no Power LED Light.
Bios already reflashed
All standard voltage is present. CPU on emergeny(?) mode - max 30 c Grad.
By Schematc & BRD View I have found few Debug/Jtag points.
Just not sure which one is correct,
1.There is some(under lack) Test points near CPU - Schematic Page 6
2. J9 26p place for connector - Present: [B]PCH[/B]_TMS/TDI/TDO/TCK/RSMRST
3. J8 26p place for Connector - [B]XDP[/B]_TMS/TDI/TDO/TCK/RSMRST

Iam trying to repair T460 NM-A581,probably,with bad EC FW.
I bought/have a RT809H.
1. How max. long can be debug cable(prog.device-MB)
2. Maybe someone know where is JTAG_Enable resistor?
Debug/JAG connector is J9(I hope),also there is some Test Points near CPU(TDO,TMS and so on)

I got two T470 with faulty TPM
All work fine,except wake up from sleep.
Its not possible to start-up from sleep mode(open a lid by sleep active),got beeps error 0285
/There is no such option in Bios - Security Chip
/In Windows TPM not recognize
/Lenovo TPM Firmware Utility cant find a TPM(TPM Manufact. Unknow,Ver. 0.0)
If I correct understand,TPM is U39 Chip,ST33HTPH2E32
Its possble to swap it from spare Motherboard?
I have set a Supervisor pass and remove it with Util. from this forum... -

Good Afternoon,
This platform uses 2 M.2 slots,1x PCIe 4.0 Optane 1x PCIe 3.0 Hybrid/SATA. With SATA SSD all ok,Windows installation/in Bios visible,if put in the second slot PCIE 4.0 ssd,Windows recognizes it(only in Windows,Bios does not find it).
Bios does not recognize anything other than SATA M.2 SSD.
Tried several different ssd, flashing(with prog.) the bios with a fresh (pulled from the update) ME. ePSA tests pass,exc. no ssd in system.
In Device Manager all drivers are ok, no errors.
Does anybody have any ideas? -
