LG 60PS11 plasma no picture with sound y board problem

When turn on the power, it only flash the screen for less than a second then goes black, sound is good.
Took off the back cover and measured the VS,VA from power board, they all normal; Checked the fuses on y board (EBR55492901), all good. Vs and VA also good on y board.
When I measured the -Vy and VSC, the voltage dropped from normal to 0v when while power on, these should be the problem and explain why it lite up a second then black.
Tried to disconnect the two buffers and checked the -Vy and vsc, the same result, so I assume the buffer boards are good.
Now the next step is to find out what causes the voltages dropped, no idea so far. The nearest transistors are the two big guys Toshiba K3453 attached the black heatsink, but they don't seem to be shorted or open (I just measured on board).

Check Vzbias too. If that's dropping out, fair chance control board is shutting it down.

I checked Vzbias, it also dropped from 105V to 0v but much slower (took a few minutes).
So Tom, the control board you mentioned is the main board ? or the digital board ?

Control board is the one which connects all the boards. Also connects to main board (which has HDMI, etc.)

It sounds like the control board is shutting down the sustains, for some reason or another.

You can try unhooking the Y-sus logic cable (ribbon cable) and see if that makes it stay on. Ideally, you'd use an oscilloscope to monitor the output of both boards to see if there's any abnormality before it cuts out.

Tom, I think you refer to the logical board EBR55609201.
I disconnect the ribbon cable from the y-board to the logical board,no light at all, even the power up lite doesn't show up.
I checked the voltages to this logical board, good, there are three regulators and their outputs are also good. (3.3,3.3,2.5). There are two leds, one is steady white, the upper one is blinking (Normal?).

          Any other suggestions?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                by TR103
                Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                - sound and backlight, but no picture
                - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                - it keeps rebooting
                - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020
                by slimmy182
Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
                by Ierwin
                Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...
