i have been looking through most all posts for an idea on how to repair this problem. It is a insignia NS-PDP50.
the problem i'm having is i turn on the unit (cold for about 2hrs) and it blinks green for 5 green blinks and a short one and it works fine, volume, picture everything good for the first 30 min or so then turns off with no blinking red light, it just goes to the stand-by red solid light so i turn it on again and all good for only 3 to4 min then turns off again goes back to stand-by,and so on.
i have checked the vs and va voltages and adjusted them within .02v-same result, I did have very small amount of snow while on a dark picture so i've adjusted the ysus board and it corrected the snow problem- but still turns off.
next i disconnected the y and z sus boards with same results . At that point i ordered a new power supply board from Shop Jimmy and installed it tonight, and have the same problem. everything is clean from dust and the 10" long (squirrel cage type) fan at the top of the tv is working for cooling.
Any ideas or other things to check from the pro's would be appreciated
Thanks
Guy
