    LG 42LF11-UA half screen issue

So I have been troubleshooting the old half screen out / vertical colored lines issue now and want to make sure this is not a panel issue.

    LG 42-LF11-UA

    Synopsis:

Turn the TV on and the whole left side is out. After 5-10 minutes colored vertical lines that somewhat match the colors or the visible right side appear. If I tap on the upper left corner of the screen the picture will return to normal. After a sporadic amount of time the bars will come back.

I ordered a TCON board and when I installed it the issue was not resolved and in addition it seems that pink and reds are replaced with a green color.

So questions are: Another bad TCON board? Wrong TCON board (although the site I ordered from specifically listed my model) Bad panel? Something else??

Looking for additional troubleshooting steps from this great knowledge base. Hoping it is not a panel issue.

    thanks!

Tab bonds/panel issue, but luckily on these not too bad to fix, quite high success rate.
Probably same panel but different TV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=purk_SyiT44

Thanks so much that did the trick. The hard part was getting the right thickness of the pieces of material. The half screen issue is gone but now there is a single black line going down the left center of the screen. Did I brake something?

      Thanks again for your assistance.
