When I power the TV on I hear the standard double click, followed by a faint 'tic tic tic' noise from the PSB and then double click and power off. Nothing shows up on the screen. Red light on front of TV lights during power up attempt as well as the green light on the control board.
All boards appear to be very clean with no visual signs of trouble that I can find so far. Caps look great. Back of boards look good as well (haven't pulled out x main yet).
After doing some reading, tried powering up the TV without the Y and X main connected. Like many others, I got the samsung chime and TV appeared to stay powered on even though there was no picture. Hitting the power button triggered another chime and TV powers down. Tried the same test with just Y Main attached and get same original result (couple clicks then gives up).
Because of this test I thought I had narrowed the problem down to the Y Main. Not sure if that is the case or not. I used my multimeter to test the 'things' (sorry, It's getting late) attached to the heat sinks and got some crazy results. I'll attach my chart below. The diagram represents the two heatsinks on the board and the readings I'm getting across all leads.
Not sure what it all means. Would love some advise. I'm new to this.
Thanks in advance.
