    Vizio xvt553sv Remote issue

I finally found a affordable main board for the vizio xvt553sv, installed main, powered on. Awesome! Everything works. Except the remote, I assume I have to link the remote to the new mainboard. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

    Re: Vizio xvt553sv Remote issue

I found this searching on google.

"What we need to do is pair the remote with the VIZIO TV again.
To do that I want you to slide open the key pad on the remote and hold down the Q, P, and Spacebar buttons together for 30 seconds.
Then let go of the buttons and pop out one of the batteries for 10 seconds. Once you put the battery back in point the remote at the TV and see if it will turn the TV off.
If it does, open up the HDTV settings or Menu and go to Bluetooth. In the Bluetooth menu it will tell you how to pair your remote again. If it already shows the VUR10 remote, it's already paired."

I just fixed the same model with a burnt Hdmi chip on the main board. Remote was working fine though, how much did you buy your main board?

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
      by Asraf Atb
      Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      Assuming...

Vizio TV M50-C1 reboot cycle and static on screen
      by spice_disc
I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...

      Vizio P759-G1, Tcon issue?
      by EazyBone
Got this TV free. Guy said it tries to turn on and doesn't. I haven't seen this specific issue before but shown in video. Any way to test the screen to rule it out on these Vizio? Or anyone seen this issue before?

      Any help appreciated

Vizio D65x-G4 Volume changes on its own
      by karthur
On this Vizio D65x, the volume will change on its own. I don't mean like during commercials where the volume will increase. I mean its like the (+) volume button on the remote is pressed and the actual volume dialog is displayed on the screen going up. It will do this, then the volume may start going down. It might go all the way to "0"or it might stop at a different number, then start going back up. The whole time its doing this, the volume dialog is shown on the screen.

It wont do it until it has been "ON" for 20 or 30 minutes, so it does seem to be heat related....
