ke 42m1 Sony 42" plasma

Hi everyone.. I have an issue with my plasma tv .. When you first turn on it works fine then after about 20 min of running and warm up there are red dots like Snow all over the screen and Horizontal lines going across. the screen.. it looks like in sections of screen though..


first pic is at start up and it looks good. the others are when it is warm..it gets worse than this though

Hi I'm new to this forum but these are my first thoughts
Since it's a problem that takes a while to show up indicates its heat related.
check for dust buildup on heat sinks and fans if any.
I would then check power supply voltages to see if any are running high.
Look for any components that look burned or abnormal.

If everything looks OK I would try using circuit freeze on various components
Freezing a component that clears up the problem usually indicates it's bad.

Looks like a control board issue. This board has the ribbon cables that to to the panel itself. Located behind all the other boards. Use a can of freeze spray or compressed air upside down and spray the main probessor on that board

Okay I got to the control board.. It helped a lot sprayed with compressed air and the picture is now. flasshin make my eyes hurt its like lookin at an old projector reel..Do I need to calibrate boards. or should I replace this control board

Something sounds amiss with that board. Is it still flashing? Did the original problem dissappear before this started?

Actually i sprayed the board again and everything whent back to normal...
Where can i get anew board.. Or is this one repairable?

okay i got the tv together
i have some red dots only on white pictures though.. and for some reason my sound on hdmi outputs do not work .. everything else works fine.. please help
