Philips 42PF7520D/10 won't turn off, Panel glowing

Hey guys,

I have a question to my Philips Plasma TV. I repaired the psu by changing the smd caps on it.

Now the tv is starting, but when I turn if off with the remote the panel is still glowing for a time for about 20-30s. Then a relay clicks and the panel is completely dark, but the stand-by led also disappear.
If I turn it off via the button on the tv itself the relay clicks immediately and the TV shuts off completely, also the stand-by led.

I don't what I could do. A reset in the service menu was already performed.

Does this TV have a digital TV feature, and are you using it?

I just tested it with nothing connected to it. But yes this Tv set has digital feature.

Can you use the digital TV function?
The reason I ask is I've had several TVs with faulty onboard digital TV which prevented them from shutting down properly, they would either turn backlight off & power light stuck green, or just stay stuck on with no picture.

Hi,

i can't check the digital feature, because we receive TV via satelite.

OK, but what if you just try to switch to the DTV mode, even without antenna, and see if it shows "please tune channels" or "no signal" for example, if it shows nothing it could be indicative of this issue.

Sorry for that late reply, but I had a lot to do. Now the TV doesn't start at all and I can't check the digital Interface.
