TV has black horizontal lines as shown in pic.

Reseat the cables on the Y-buffer side. (If you need help locating the Y-buffer take some photos inside the chassis.)
If that doesn't fix it, then the panel is bad. Not economically repaired unfortunately. These 2010 Samsungs seem to have a lot of issues with the panels going bad.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Man that looks like a bad case of samsung panel failure. Did thus happen all the sudden or are more lines dropping out slowly? I have ran into this and re placed buffers, resoldered ribbon connections, tested and tested last year on one of these.
Like Tom66 said. At least try to reseat the ribbon connections.Did I leave the soldering iron on?Comment
