    Protron PLTV-26M Power?

I have a Protron PLTV-26M TV and when I plug the power cord in/flip switch the status indicator comes on orange then goes to red. I push the power button and the light turns green and the screen flashes but then turns completely off, not status light or response of any kind. I have to unplug it to reset it and it will do it again. I looked at the voltages on the board and it looks like I briefly get the right voltages but it is almost like the psu is going into a protection mode...I have tried unplugging the other cables going to the inverters and such but it still acts the same way. Could this be a short on the psu or something causing it to trip itself completely off?

What no photo of the PSU or a board number.

Try turning it on with everything connected except the cable to the inverter, what happens now?.

Now try disconnecting the connector from the main board to the t-con, any change?

No change...Can I jumper the PS_On to the 5V standby to turn it on and see if the power supply is the problem?

Yes, try that. You'll need a resistor.

Have you removed the heatsinks on top to inspect the caps for bulging or leaks?

What voltage do you get across the main filter cap?
