    Help with Westinghouse LD-4655VX

My Westinghouse LD-4655VX started showing white lines on the right side of the screen a few weeks ago. It appeared like every other trace was missing or just white. Then it became intermittent, the screen would be fine for hours then suddenly the lines would be back. At first it was just the right 1/4 of the screen, then the next quarter started and the first quarter got worst. Now it has a white vertical bar in about the middle of the right half and lines on the remaining portion of the right half. The left half of the screen is fine and has not had a problem. The TV was purchased in Jan 2012.

I have read in the forums here and elsewhere on the web about problems with the cable that connects to the LED bar. Could my problem be related to this cable or is my motherboard bad?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that's not the L:ED cable problem. sounds like a tab bond or Tcon. pictures would help here.

Here are 2 pictures. I hope they can be seen I don't see them in the preview..

        Thank you.

The pictures aren't here. I tried adding them as file and copying neither worked. How do I add them? I forgot to upload them.

TD Systems K50DLG12US half black and half white screen
          by Raulnn
good night! I have this screen that looks half black and half white. the tcon gives a low vgh value (5-6v). the rest seem fine. I first removed the flex from one half of the panel and then the other. Removing the left, vgh increases it to 25-26v. I think the problem is in that area, but there are not many elements on the integrated controller board. there are no shorted capacitors. could they be a cof? Some help?

By the way, now the entire screen is black. Maybe some flex was not connected correctly... I have exchanged the flex and there are no variations, I don't think they are the...

Sharp Aquos LC-70C6400U Half Screen Dark
          by scubacamper
I found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display...

LG 55UH6150- trouble powering up, then half lit screen (pictures!)
          by valvashon
The 55" LG has been in the basement for a few months without being used. Turned it on yesterday, set came on as it should and showed a complete screen for about 5 seconds (was on a broadcast channel but no antenna was connected), then the screen went mostly dark with about 1/3 of the screen on the right lighting up with brighter lines in that lit part (sorry, no pictures of that). Power LED was cycling too, preventing the TV from fully powering up.
Pulled the back off, all boards looked OK. Pulled the LED connector, turned the set on to see if it would power up but I don't belive it...

65" W Box TV half backlight problem
          by bbruzzoni
I have a 65" W Box TV, model 0E-65LED4K that most of the times it is turned on, the right half of the backlights flash on and off in a split second and remain off while the other half lights up and stays on just fine. I thought it would be the LEDs, so I checked all of them and they're all good, no direct problem with any of the LEDs or any of the connections. One thing I noticed was that when I disconnected one of the LED strips from the left side (the working side) the backlights now switched and the half left side flashed and stayed off while the right side lit up and stayed on. I then...
