Seller describes the issue as "50" Samsung Flat Screen Plasma TV Model PN50C450B1DXZA. Picture looks good except 1 line, and has a power on/off flicker issue common with those models." Asking price is $125. Worth it?

No. 1 line is permanent panel failure, not repairable.

'1 line' isn't real specific but without a picture I would immediately be thinking bad panel.

I personally couldn't see giving more than about $50 for that series of set even if I didn't think it was a panel issue. 3 year old 720p resolution that was a pretty cheap buy when it was new.

Yes run. Some reason the newer Samsung 50 and 51 panels are getting y ribbon to panel failures. Not repairable, lord knows I have tried. The problem lies within the glass where the ribbons are fused to the matrix.
